	Stieber RSBW backstops are rugged, compact holdbacks incorporating double-cage sprag clutches centred in plain bearings and protected by shielded 'O' rings. Delivered grease-lubricated RSBW can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. Primarily used as a backstop, such as on inclined conveyors and elevators, RSBW is also suitable for indexing applications where the slotted arm allows for the simple attachment of an actuator. The design provides a high torque capacity with a minimum space requirement and is particularly suitable for harsh environments such as very dusty or wet areas. Four frame sizes provide no less than 12 available bore sizes and torque capacities from 375 Nm to 4875 Nm.
